An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Key Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to): - Review, refine, and edit documents, reports, and legal content to ensure they communicate clearly and professionally. - Improve the flow and structure of written materials so that they are easy to read and understand. - Check grammar, spelling, formatting, and facts to maintain accuracy and credibility. - Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all communications. - Work closely with teams to understand the context behind each document and represent it accurately. - Provide supportive feedback to writers and contributors to help improve the overall quality of content. - Handle confidential information with care, sensitivity, and professionalism. - Deliver well-edited documents on time and ensure they meet high editorial standards. - Support the creation of newsletters, announcements, and internal or external communication materials. - Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility in all tasks. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field. - 3 –5 years of proven editing or content-development experience (experience in a legal or corporate environment is a plus). - Excellent command of English grammar and strong writing/editing skills. - Ability to review lengthy or technical documents with patience and attention to detail. - Ability to detect errors or inconsistencies. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other relevant editing tools. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - High level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality. - Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. Required Competencies: - Exceptional editing and proofreading ability. - Eye for detail and accuracy in written communication. - Ability to simplify complex information while maintaining meaning. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Professionalism, honesty, and confidentiality. - Good organizational and time-management skills.
