Collection Officer

Position Overview: - We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Collection Officer to manage loan recovery and ensure timely repayment from customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, negotiation ability, and a good understanding of debt collection processes. Key Responsibilities: - Contact customers via phone calls, messages, and visits to follow up on outstanding payments - Negotiate repayment plans and ensure adherence to agreed terms - Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly recovery targets - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and collections - Escalate difficult or delinquent cases when necessary - Educate customers on repayment obligations and company policies - Work closely with team leaders and recovery managers to improve performance - Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines Requirements: & Qualifications - Minimum of SSCE / OND / HND / B.Sc (any discipline) - Previous experience in loan recovery or collections is an advantage - Strong communication and persuasion skills - Ability to work under pressure and meet targets - High level of integrity and professionalism - Must have an andriod phone Skills: & Competencies: - Negotiation and persuasion - Customer handling and conflict resolution - Time management and result orientation - Attention to detail Salary & Benefits - Competitive salary (upto N200,000 including incentives) - Performance-based incentives
