CNC Machine Operator

Position Overview - This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented operator capable of operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications and safety standards. - The role involves monitoring machine performance, ensuring product accuracy, and supporting efficient production processes while working closely with production and quality teams. Key Responsibilities: - Set up, operate, and adjust CNC lathe and / or milling machines. - Load CNC programs and configure tools and machine parameters. - Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy. - Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments. - Identify and report defects, tool wear, and equipment issues. - Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. - Maintain accurate production and inspection records. - Comply with HSE policies and proper use of PPE. - Work with the team to meet production targets and reduce downtime. - Support continuous improvement and efficient machining practices. Required Qualifications: and Skills Education: al Background: - B.Eng./B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Experience: - Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CNC Machine Operator in a manufacturing or automotive company. Technical Proficiency: - Strong knowledge of CNC machine processes, tooling, materials, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Measurement & Quality: - Proficiency in the use of precision measuring instruments and understanding of quality control standards.
