Position Overview:
- The Cashier is responsible for handling all cash transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent.
Key Responsibilities:
Cash Handling & Transactions:
- Receive and process cash, card, and mobile payments from customers accurately.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change as required.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and report any discrepancies immediately.
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers professionally.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints politely and escalate when necessary.
- Ensure a smooth and pleasant transaction experience for all customers.
Record Keeping & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of daily cash transactions.
- Submit cash reports, reconciliations, and deposit logs to the supervisor or finance department.
Assist with audits as required.
Compliance & Security:
- Adhere strictly to company cash handling policies and procedures.
- Ensure the security of cash, tickets, and other valuables at all times.
- Report suspicious activities or discrepancies promptly.
Team Collaboration & Operations Support:
- Support operations team in maintaining orderly and efficient workflow.
- Assist with inventory checks or operational duties if required.
