Job description
## Title: Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current and past financial data and provide strategies to increase revenue
- Research the market to identify new business opportunities, formulate market analysis, and deliver accurate business reports
- Create positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients
- Develop business development and marketing plans and growth strategies in collaboration with Management to achieve set revenue goals
- Build referral and lead generation networks, and arrange business meetings with prospective clients to increase income generation
- Generate business by promoting and selling the bank's financial products, such as deposits and various loan facilities
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support, keep records of sales and revenue
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in social sciences, business management, or any other related field
- Minimum of 5 years of Business Development/Sales experience with a focus on the microfinance sector
- Proven experience in microfinance products sales (highly preferred)
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Market research, strategy, and business reporting capabilities
- Proven ability to work independently
- Superior presentation skills and excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Desire to make a significant contribution to a rapidly growing organization
