Position Overview: - An Administrative Assistant provides crucial clerical and organizational support to ensure efficient daily office operations. - Key responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, maintaining files, greeting visitors, and ordering supplies. - They often prepare reports, arrange travel, and use software like MS Office /Google Suite. Core Responsibilities - Office Support: Answering phone calls, distributing mail, and greeting clients/visitors. - Scheduling: Managing calendars, booking meeting rooms, and organizing travel arrangements. - Documentation: Preparing, editing, and formatting documents, reports, and memos. - Organization: Maintaining digital and physical filing systems, database management, and inventory tracking. - Communication: Acting as a point of contact between staff, clients, and management. Required Skills and Qualifications - Education: High school Diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree is often preferred. - Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office equipment operation. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Organizational Skills: High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong time management. - Interpersonal Skills: Professionalism, adaptability, and a proactive attitude.
