Job description
An established company is recruiting for the following position.
Position Overview:
- The Admin & Importation Officer supports office administration while coordinating the importation of pharmaceutical products. The role ensures timely shipment, accurate documentation, regulatory compliance (including NAFDAC), and efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Importation & Compliance:
- Coordinate import documentation from order placement to warehouse receipt
- Liaise with overseas suppliers, banks, freight forwarders, and clearing agents
- Work with the Pharmacist to ensure all documents required for NAFDAC clearance are complete
- Track shipments, monitor delivery timelines, and ensure compliance with import regulations
- Process foreign payments and reconcile supplier invoices
- Maintain proper import records for audit and regulatory review.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate company databases and filing systems
- Coordinate office vendors, supplies, and service providers
- Manage company vehicles (maintenance, repairs, usage logs)
- Support training programs and internal office events
- Prepare staff ID cards and manage expatriate records.
Required Qualifications:
& Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
- 2–3 years’ experience in administration and/or importation
- Knowledge of importation processes; NAFDAC exposure is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
