Position Overview

Embassy Niamey is recruiting one (1) Registered Nurse to provide medical care and health services to Mission employees and eligible family members. This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) available to U.S. Citizen Eligible Family Members (USEFMs).

• Work Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week (job sharing)
• Duty Location: Niamey, Niger
• Appointment Type: Permanent (Definite, not to exceed 5 years)
• Promotion Potential: FP-5

• Relocation Expenses Reimbursed: No

Key Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse credential or equivalent
• U.S. Citizen or Eligible Family Member (USEFM) status
• Public Trust security clearance and background investigation required
• Ability to begin work within four (4) weeks of agency authorization and clearance/certification approval

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to Mission employees and eligible family members in accordance with MED-approved clinical guidelines
• Maintain and manage all medical equipment and supplies inventory
• Implement and manage vaccination programs
• Develop and deliver group and individual health education programs
