Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, and other platforms, tailored specifically for the cosmetics industry
• Oversee the creation and curation of high-quality, engaging, and on-brand content including photos, videos, tutorials, and graphics that highlight product benefits and application techniques
• Build and nurture an active online community by managing daily interactions, responding to inquiries and comments, and fostering brand loyalty with professionalism
• Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with key beauty influencers and content creators to amplify brand messaging and reach
• Use analytics tools to monitor social media performance metrics, track KPIs, analyze campaign ROI, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
• Stay current with emerging social media trends, platform updates, and beauty industry best practices while ensuring all communication is compliant and professional

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation
• Essential experience in the cosmetics or beauty sector
• Strong portfolio demonstrating success in driving engagement and sales for a beauty brand
• Deep familiarity with cosmetic product marketing nuances
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
• Keen aesthetic eye and creative flair for visually appealing content
• Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), content editing software, and analytics platforms
• Based in or near Nairobi, Kenya, with ability to work from the office and attend local events and photoshoots as required
