Role Overview
We seek a dedicated individual to support our Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning initiatives across our programs and projects in Nairobi, Kenya.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Monitoring and Evaluation
- Support the design and execution of monitoring and evaluation systems and tools for the ongoing implementation of the organization's projects
- Work with the Head of Programmes and Partnership Manager to facilitate staff in the revision of training and project-specific work plans, strategies, and frameworks to ensure program success
- Collaborate with staff and project teams to design and implement information and data management frameworks and systems to ensure proper and accurate collection of performance data from various projects
- Oversee data capture, analysis, utilization, and archiving processes
Data Collection and Reporting
- Support regular data collection by ensuring all field staff, trainers, and points of contact are clear on deadlines and reporting requirements
- Assist project teams in preparing project reports according to donor and project requirements
- Support data audits and respond to inquiries from donors and project stakeholders
- Compile appropriate and disaggregated data and support the writing of narrative reports for project submissions, impact reports, donor reports, and policy documents
- Support implementation of baseline surveys, mid-term reviews, and end-of-project reviews for SISTECH and other programs
Strategic MEL Support and Risk Management
- Ensure continuous harmonization of monitoring and evaluation plans, tools, and techniques with respective projects and global monitoring and evaluation systems
