Insurance Business Development Officer at Springboard Capital Limited

About the Role

Springboard Capital Limited is recruiting an Insurance Business Development Officer to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing new insurance clients, managing customer relationships, and supporting the growth of our insurance portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and identify new insurance clients
• Conduct insurance marketing activities and campaigns
• Provide effective customer service to insurance clients
• Follow up on insurance renewals and ensure timely payment of premiums
• Place insurance covers and obtain insurance confirmations
• Review insurance cover confirmation documents for completeness and accuracy
• Prepare accurate and complete quotations for insurance premiums
• Maintain customer information in both digital and physical formats
• Communicate company policies effectively to clients
• Advise clients on insurance-related matters and issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Insurance or Marketing options) or related field from a recognized institution
• At least 1–2 years of relevant working experience in insurance marketing or related field

Required Skills

• Proficiency in ICT, Microsoft Office, and internet applications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities
• Alert to identifying new opportunities, both internal and external
• Highly effective communicator in both oral and written formats
