## Title: Business Development Manager, ICT Digital Solutions

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Business Development Manager, ICT Digital Solutions.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business, ICT, Marketing, or a related Information Systems field (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent (mandatory)
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Microsoft Azure, or Cisco Certifications

Experience & Expertise

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in ICT solutions Business Development role, with a strong record of winning business and consistently meeting revenue targets
  • Proven experience selling enterprise technology, software platforms, and digital solutions to both private and public sectors, including familiarity with end-to-end sales cycles in complex environments
  • Solid understanding of RFPs, tendering, and procurement procedures within Africa, with the ability to lead proposal development and navigate competitive bidding processes
  • Prior engagement with multilateral organizations and development partners—such as World Bank-funded programmes—particularly on ICT or digital transformation initiatives
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability, with the ability to develop sound business cases, forecast opportunities, and support strategic decision-making

  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to guide and motivate teams, collaborate with cross-functional units, and champion sales performance
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders across governments, development finance institutions, and large enterprises
  • Proactive, ambitious, and entrepreneurial mindset—driven to pursue opportunities, solve problems, and secure major ICT and digital transformation deals

Sales Strategy & Innovation

  • Ability to design and execute creative sales and go-to-market strategies that respond to varied regional markets and client needs
  • Capability to manage large, multi-stakeholder sales processes
