Department: Retail Operations Location: Makueni - Wote JOB PURPOSE The Shop Manager is responsible for overall day-to-day operations of the TechZone store, driving sales growth, managing staff performance, ensuring excellent customer experience, controlling stock, and safeguarding company assets while maintaining TechZone brand standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Revenue Management
  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets (phones, accessories
  • Monitor sales performance and submit daily sales reports.
  • Staff Management & Leadership
  • Supervise sales attendants and support staff.
  • Customer service and selling skills
  • POS systems and payment methods
  • Set daily targets and conduct morning briefs.
  • Monitor staff discipline, punctuality, grooming, and professionalism.
  • Customer Experience & Service
  • Ensure customers receive friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve them promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive shop environment.
  • Stock & Inventory Control
  • Receive, verify, and record all stock.
  • Ensure proper stock storage and display.
  • Conduct daily spot checks and regular full stock counts.
  • Reconcile physical stock with system stock and report discrepancies immediately.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Coordinate with head office on supplies, maintenance, and operational needs.

  • Monthly sales target achievement
  • Customer satisfaction & complaint resolution
  • Staff performance and discipline
  • Cash and stock reconciliation accuracy
Required Qualifications: & EXPERIENCE
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in retail management (electronics or phone retail preferred).
  • Strong sales and customer service background.
  • Experience managing a team and handling stock.

  • Strong leadership and people-management skills

  • High integrity and attention to detail
  • Good understanding of smartphones, gadgets, and accessories
  • Basic computer skills (POS, Excel, inventory systems)
