Department: Retail Operations Location: Makueni - Wote JOB PURPOSE The Shop Manager is responsible for overall day-to-day operations of the TechZone store, driving sales growth, managing staff performance, ensuring excellent customer experience, controlling stock, and safeguarding company assets while maintaining TechZone brand standards. Key Responsibilities: - Sales & Revenue Management - Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets (phones, accessories - Monitor sales performance and submit daily sales reports. - Staff Management & Leadership - Supervise sales attendants and support staff. - Customer service and selling skills - POS systems and payment methods - Set daily targets and conduct morning briefs. - Monitor staff discipline, punctuality, grooming, and professionalism. - Customer Experience & Service - Ensure customers receive friendly, knowledgeable, and professional service. - Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve them promptly. - Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive shop environment. - Stock & Inventory Control - Receive, verify, and record all stock. - Ensure proper stock storage and display. - Conduct daily spot checks and regular full stock counts. - Reconcile physical stock with system stock and report discrepancies immediately. - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and SOPs. - Coordinate with head office on supplies, maintenance, and operational needs. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) - Monthly sales target achievement - Customer satisfaction & complaint resolution - Staff performance and discipline - Cash and stock reconciliation accuracy Required Qualifications: & EXPERIENCE - Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Management, or related field. - Minimum 2–3 years experience in retail management (electronics or phone retail preferred). - Strong sales and customer service background. - Experience managing a team and handling stock. Skills: & COMPETENCIES - Strong leadership and people-management skills - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - High integrity and attention to detail - Good understanding of smartphones, gadgets, and accessories - Basic computer skills (POS, Excel, inventory systems) - Ability to meet targets
