About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Receptionist/Front Office Agent at our Mombasa location.
Key Responsibilities
- Professionally handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate extensions
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Administer reservations, cancellations, and guest billing accurately
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a courteous and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records and front office documentation
- Ensure the reception area is consistently clean, organized, and presentable
- Manage petty cash and reception float in accordance with company procedures
- Report maintenance, breakage, or cleanliness issues to the relevant department
- Adhere to company policies, including health, safety, and fire procedures
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field
- Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Proven experience in reservations, guest relations, and billing processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera or similar) and general computer applications
