## Title: Receptionist/Front Office Agent

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Receptionist/Front Office Agent at our Mombasa location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Professionally handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate extensions
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
  • Administer reservations, cancellations, and guest billing accurately
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a courteous and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records and front office documentation
  • Ensure the reception area is consistently clean, organized, and presentable
  • Manage petty cash and reception float in accordance with company procedures
  • Report maintenance, breakage, or cleanliness issues to the relevant department
  • Adhere to company policies, including health, safety, and fire procedures

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven experience in reservations, guest relations, and billing processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera or similar) and general computer applications
