## Title: Legal Secretary

Role Objective

A medium-sized law firm headquartered in Nairobi seeks an experienced Legal Secretary to enhance operational efficiency and provide comprehensive administrative support to the management team.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise junior staff and delegate tasks as needed
  • Prepare bids, tenders, proposals, and presentations to support business development initiatives and meet turnaround time targets
  • Handle all correspondence via mail, calls, and other communication channels
  • Manage general administration and secretarial duties
  • Prepare various administrative and operational reports
  • Oversee office utility bills, ensure timely payments, and follow up on accounts
  • Coordinate meetings, office events, and industry-relevant activities
  • Serve as key liaison contact between the office and various stakeholders including government authorities, suppliers, clients, and staff
  • Organize and maintain the Director's calendar, diaries, and appointments; coordinate meetings proactively and efficiently
  • Prepare briefs, minutes, and reports for meetings
  • Represent the Partner and management in various meetings as required
  • Perform additional duties as allocated by management

Qualifications

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience
