Lead Design Technology Teacher

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Durham International Schools as Lead Design Technology Teacher.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A good honours degree and teacher training qualification for the 11 to 18 age range
• Minimum of two years teaching experience (ideally five or more years)
• Ability to teach Design Technology up to IGCSE and A Level or IB
• Valid Teacher Services Commission Certificate (if applying from Kenya) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a general education degree (for overseas applicants)

Key Competencies

• Skilled classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge
• Awareness of effective teaching methodology
