Overall Responsibility
The Claims Analyst will be responsible for processing and managing insurance claims, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions while upholding company policies and procedures. This role involves evaluating claims, investigating incidents, communicating with all parties involved, and managing all aspects of the claim process from initial report to final settlement. The position holder will fulfill the promises and obligations of risks assumed by the company on behalf of its clients, while detecting fraudulent claims to minimize claims costs and maintain low loss ratios.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial reserving of new claims
- Analyze claims and determine policy coverage eligibility
- Make recommendations for settlement of claims
- Inform clients of claim acceptance and settlement allocation
- Analyze and authenticate service provider reports and recommendations
- Prepare repair authority letters to garages and courtesy car letters
- Appoint Loss Adjusters and investigators to investigate suspicious claims within stipulated timelines
- Issue discharge vouchers for approved offers and letters of offer
- Check claims payment vouchers and dispatch accordingly
- Review files after payment completion
- Ensure all inquiries and payments are processed quickly
- Process service provider payments
- Manage third-party recoveries

External: Claims service providers, customers, and intermediaries
