Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and structured Retail Operations & Commercial Manager to stabilise operations, strengthen systems discipline, and drive consistent commercial performance. This role requires a firm, detail-oriented leader capable of bringing operational clarity, improving inventory visibility, and restoring predictable sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and correct operational inefficiencies affecting service and fulfilment
- Strengthen order processing accuracy and reduce customer complaints
- Drive structured weekly sales targets and monitor performance trends
- Reintroduce cross-selling discipline and product focus based on data insights
- Ensure accurate stock tracking between warehouse and retail units
- Align inventory movement with actual sales performance
- Enforce disciplined use of POS systems and reporting tools
- Conduct daily product and sales coaching sessions with store teams
- Address underperformance promptly and build accountability
- Provide structured performance reports with data-backed recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- 5-10 years' experience in retail operations management
- Strong systems discipline and reporting capability
- Commercially driven with strong attention to detail
- Confident leading teams and enforcing operational standards
Desirable Experience
- Experience stabilising or improving underperforming units
