About the Role

Vihiga County Government is seeking dedicated individuals to fill 3 positions on the County Public Service Board. This is an opportunity to contribute to the achievement of the County Government's strategic objectives as part of a committed team.

Eligibility Requirements

• Be a Kenyan Citizen
• Possess a minimum Bachelor's degree from a university recognized in Kenya
• Have a minimum of five (5) years of working experience
• Satisfy the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution on Leadership and Integrity
• Be a professional demonstrating absence of breach of the relevant professional code of conduct
• Not be a state or public officer

Political Disqualifications

Applicants must not meet any of the following conditions:

• Have held office or stood for election as a Member of Parliament or County Assembly within the preceding five years
• Have held office or stood for election as a member of the governing body of a political party within the preceding five years
• Be or have been a candidate for election as a Member of Parliament or County Assembly
• Be or have been the holder of an office in any political organization that sponsors, supports, or has sponsored or supported a candidate for election as a Member of Parliament or County Assembly
