## Title: Assistant Director, Public Affairs & Communication

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as Assistant Director, Public Affairs & Communication.

Qualifications Required

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

  • Cumulative service period of twelve (12) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which should have been at the grade of Principal Corporate Communication Officer or in a comparable position
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communication, or equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Master's Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
  • Leadership Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
  • Membership to a relevant professional body in good standing (where applicable)
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
