Job description
We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position.
- The Sales Associate responsibility is to support the sales team in identifying leads, engaging prospective clients, and executing day-to-day sales activities. The Sales Associate plays a key role in driving pipeline growth, assisting in proposal development, and maintaining strong client relationships under the guidance of the Sales Manager.
FUNCTIONS
- Identify and qualify leads through research, outreach, and industry networks
- Maintain and update client data and opportunities in the CRM system
- Follow up with prospective clients and schedule meetings
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, and sales documentation
- Liaise with internal teams to gather inputs for proposals
- Communicate with clients throughout the sales process
- Support account management and maintain positive client relationships
- Attend client meetings and track follow-up actions
- Conduct market research on trends, competitors, and regulations
- Share insights to support sales strategies and planning
- Prepare weekly sales reports and track key metrics
- Support the planning and execution of sales events and campaigns
ACADEMIC/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer service within the energy sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Interest or knowledge in renewable energy is an advantage
