About the Role
Reporting directly to the Unit Manager, you will be responsible for hands-on supervision of food and beverage operations. Your background in restaurant operations will be exceptional, enabling you to lead and guide a team of food and beverage staff to deliver consistently high standards of service.
You will possess distinct leadership qualities to provide a credible and mature role model. With a passion for food and beverage and exceptional knowledge of food, wine, and beverages, you will train and develop a knowledgeable team skilled in all aspects of service.
As a passionate and adaptable individual, you will connect and engage with guests from around the world, bringing the unit to life and providing exceptional hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise food and beverage operations on a daily basis
- Lead and guide food and beverage staff to maintain high service standards
- Train and develop team members in all aspects of service
- Manage day-to-day team supervision
- Engage with guests and deliver exceptional customer service
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in hotel management or other relevant tertiary qualification
- 2+ years' experience as an F&B Supervisor or Head Waiter
- Proven track record in a quality hotel or restaurant environment
Required Skills and Competencies
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong passion for customer service
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Good presentation skills
- POS system experience (MICROS)
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and shifts
