About the Role

A reputable pharmaceutical organization seeks a dedicated Pharmacist/Procurement Officer to join its team. This position combines pharmacy expertise with procurement management to ensure optimal operations and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board
• Oversee procurement and warehousing operations, including proper storage, FIFO inventory management, expiry control, and item care
• Receive, investigate, and resolve market complaints
• Develop and implement quality assurance policies
• Ensure compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practice) standards
• Monitor stock levels and place timely orders to maintain continuous supply
• Maintain proper storage conditions for all pharmaceutical products

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
• Minimum 2 years' experience in procurement or a related role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Sage ERP
