Job description
An established company is recruiting for the following position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage weekend scheduling and support the primary weekday scheduler.
- Review, assign, and update caregiver schedules in WellSky or similar software.
- Follow client/caregiver preferences and compatibility notes.
- Adjust schedules creatively to achieve full shift coverage while avoiding overtime.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the weekday scheduler for notes and priorities.
- Respond to caregiver call‑outs, urgent changes, and last‑minute needs.
- Accurately document updates to reduce reliance on unwritten information.
- Answer inbound calls professionally from caregivers, clients, or prospects.
- Escalate any complex or clinical concerns to management.
- Assist with recruiting follow‑ups, job postings, and other admin tasks during downtime.
Requirements:
Experience:
- Customer service or scheduling experience (healthcare/home‑care is a plus).
- Experience handling inbound calls in fast‑paced environments.
- Familiarity with scheduling platforms such as WellSky (or willingness to learn).
- Ability to work independently during high‑pressure weekend operations.
