ISP Technician

Education: and Qualification - Minimum Certificate in Fiber optics. - Atleast 1 year on Fiber optics. - Proficiency in fiber handling & maintenance. - Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities: - Installing and terminating fiber optic cables and other network equipment. - Resolving Loss of Services and Connections within SLA. - Ensure tickets are updated timely and closed with clears once resolved. - Observing Health & safety guidelines and ensuring quality assurance throughout the implementation and maintenance period. - Educating clients on basic troubleshooting processes and answering fiber optic related questions from customers. - Individuals will work as a team with other technicians and NOC personnel and report to field supervisors. - Fiber link faulting and faults resolutions within the service Level Agreement (SLA). - Splicing fiber optics at various fiber distribution hubs, troubleshooting and testing fiber links with a light source, optical power meters and an OTDR. - Providing timely updates on fiber faults to the NOC personnel and ensuring excellent customer service to the client. - Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.
