## Title: Human Resources Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to join our client team. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth while providing comprehensive human resource support and ensuring the effective implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures that enhance organizational performance, employee engagement, and compliance with employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including job advertisements, shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding
  • Develop and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for future staffing needs
  • Ensure new employee documentation, induction, and orientation are properly executed

Employee Relations & Welfare

  • Promote healthy employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and disciplinary management
  • Handle grievances, investigations, and ensure fairness in all HR-related matters
  • Support initiatives that enhance employee motivation, retention, and engagement

Performance Management

  • Coordinate the performance appraisal process and track employee performance objectives
  • Support line managers in setting performance goals and providing continuous feedback
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend training or corrective actions

Training & Development

  • Conduct training needs assessments and develop annual training plans
  • Coordinate internal and external learning and development programs
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and maintain accurate training records

HR Compliance & Record Management

  • Maintain updated employee records in both physical and digital formats
  • Ensure compliance with Kenyan labor laws and company policies
  • Prepare HR-related reports such as headcount, turnover, leave, and disciplinary reports

Payroll Support & Benefits Administration

  • Support payroll processing by ensuring timely submission of employee changes and attendance data
  • Administer employee benefits and maintain accurate benefit records
