## Title: HR Intern

Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Intern to support the Human Resources department in day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. This role offers hands-on exposure to recruitment, employee relations, documentation, and HR processes while contributing to an efficient HR function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in posting job adverts on various platforms
  • Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews
  • Support the shortlisting process
  • Support preparation of HR letters including contracts, confirmation letters, and notices
  • Help address employee inquiries by directing them to the HR Manager
  • Prepare onboarding documentation such as offer letters, contracts, and induction materials
  • Participate in HR projects including policy development, job descriptions, HR audits, and compliance support
  • Assist in preparing HR proposals, reports, and presentations
  • Maintain organized employee records and HR databases
  • Participate in performance appraisals and tracking reviews
  • Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR reports

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
  • Knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Internship Details

  • Duration: 3 months
  • Remuneration: A monthly stipend will be provided (this is not a salaried position)
