## Title: HR Intern
Job Purpose
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Intern to support the Human Resources department in day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. This role offers hands-on exposure to recruitment, employee relations, documentation, and HR processes while contributing to an efficient HR function.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in posting job adverts on various platforms
- Schedule and coordinate candidate interviews
- Support the shortlisting process
- Support preparation of HR letters including contracts, confirmation letters, and notices
- Help address employee inquiries by directing them to the HR Manager
- Prepare onboarding documentation such as offer letters, contracts, and induction materials
- Participate in HR projects including policy development, job descriptions, HR audits, and compliance support
- Assist in preparing HR proposals, reports, and presentations
- Maintain organized employee records and HR databases
- Participate in performance appraisals and tracking reviews
- Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR reports
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- Knowledge of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Internship Details
- Duration: 3 months
- Remuneration: A monthly stipend will be provided (this is not a salaried position)
