## Title: Lecturer in Counseling Psychology

Africa Nazarene University (ANU) is seeking a dynamic and qualified Lecturer in Counseling Psychology to join our expanding team in Nairobi, Kenya.

Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a lecturer, OR five (5) years of research/industry experience with a demonstrated track record of securing research funds
Minimum of twenty-four (24) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least sixteen (16) must be from refereed scholarly journals

Demonstrated teaching skills as evidenced by student evaluations and peer reviews
Proficiency in online teaching and pedagogy
Experience in major non-teaching responsibilities at a university or reputable organization (preferred)

Develop, plan, and implement high-quality curriculum
Review curriculum and course outlines, and develop course and lesson plans
Prepare contact learning and online course materials and teaching aids
Employ diverse teaching methods including field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, and off-class activities
Develop learning assessment plans
Supervise and guide undergraduate and graduate students, internships, and research projects
Conduct research in specialist areas and publish findings in professional journals, books, and electronic media
Participate in grant writing and research collaborations
Advise students on academic, career, and related matters
Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, and participate in industrial linkages and market outreach activities as required
Participate in departmental administrative and field operations
