Strathmore School invites applications from an experienced Business Studies specialist to teach across Junior School (Grades 7–9) and Senior School (Grades 10–12). Key Responsibilities

• Deliver well-structured, motivating Business Studies lessons across Junior and Senior levels, aligned to CBC and 8-4-4 syllabuses
• Prepare learners for candidate classes through exam and assessment preparation, past-paper practice, marking, and feedback
• Embed real-world business contexts, enterprise projects, and financial literacy into the curriculum
• Track and report student progress; plan interventions for underperforming students
• Collaborate in departmental planning, scheme-of-work development, and assessment standardization
• Actively engage in co-curricular activities that support student development

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Studies, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, or related field, plus a recognized teaching qualification
• Valid TSC registration (or equivalent) and demonstrable classroom experience across Junior and Senior School levels
• Evidence of successful classroom management and outcomes-driven teaching

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• Experience delivering enterprise, entrepreneurship, or practical business projects
• Prior work in high-achieving academic environments or with international exam boards
• Ability to contribute to school clubs, entrepreneurship programmes, or mentorship schemes
• Proven experience preparing candidate classes for KCSE 8-4-4 and/or IGCSE examinations
