About the Position

Garden City University College (GCUC), located in Kenyase-Kumasi, is inviting applications for faculty appointments at multiple levels in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Health and Allied Sciences.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach courses in subject-specific areas within nursing and midwifery
• Supervise student research projects and theses
• Provide professional mentorship to students
• Conduct and publish scholarly research
• Attend academic conferences
• Attract research grants and funding
• Report to the Head of Department

Required Qualifications

• PhD or MPhil degree with specialization in nursing, midwifery, or related programs
• Relevant teaching experience
• Relevant research experience
• Relevant industry experience
• Availability to commit a minimum of four (4) years on a full-time basis

Terms of Appointment

• Full-time position
• Initial appointment: Four (4) years
• Renewal: Available on a periodic basis subject to satisfactory performance and university terms and conditions
