About the Position

Garden City University College (GCUC), located in Kenyase-Kumasi, is inviting applications for faculty appointments at multiple levels in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Health and Allied Sciences.

Key Responsibilities

Teach courses in subject-specific areas within nursing and midwifery
Supervise student research projects and theses
Provide professional mentorship to students
Conduct and publish scholarly research
Attend academic conferences
Attract research grants and funding
Report to the Head of Department

Required Qualifications

PhD or MPhil degree with specialization in nursing, midwifery, or related programs
Relevant teaching experience
Relevant research experience
Relevant industry experience
Availability to commit a minimum of four (4) years on a full-time basis

Terms of Appointment

Full-time position
Initial appointment: Four (4) years
Renewal: Available on a periodic basis subject to satisfactory performance and university terms and conditions
