## Title: General Manager

About the Role

Rehoboth Properties Limited, a reputable and leading real estate company based in Accra, Ghana, is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our operations and drive business growth.

Position Overview

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day business activities, improving overall business functions, and ensuring the achievement of strategic objectives across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily business operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments
  • Develop and implement growth strategies to expand market presence
  • Train and develop low-level managers and staff members
  • Create and manage budgets while optimizing resource allocation
  • Drive revenue improvement initiatives
  • Hire and recruit qualified employees
  • Evaluate performance and productivity across departments
  • Analyse accounting and financial data to inform business decisions
  • Research and identify growth opportunities in the real estate sector
  • Generate reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders
  • Develop policies and communicate business goals clearly to staff

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Membership of a recognised professional body
  • Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification relevant working experience

Core Competencies Required

  • Minimum of a 1st Degree in building technology or related field (MBA or professional qualification in marketing is an added advantage)
  • 7 years of relevant work experience in the building and construction industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position
  • Experience working with reputable multinational or local construction and real estate companies
  • Strong project management and development skills
  • Ability to influence and negotiate for contracts
  • Capability to market the company's social housing products effectively
  • Analytical, focused, and hardworking mindset with strong discipline
  • Comprehensive knowledge of different business functions
  • Work experience in a housing institution (advantageous)
