## Title: General Manager
About the Role
Rehoboth Properties Limited, a reputable and leading real estate company based in Accra, Ghana, is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our operations and drive business growth.
Position Overview
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day business activities, improving overall business functions, and ensuring the achievement of strategic objectives across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily business operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments
- Develop and implement growth strategies to expand market presence
- Train and develop low-level managers and staff members
- Create and manage budgets while optimizing resource allocation
- Drive revenue improvement initiatives
- Hire and recruit qualified employees
- Evaluate performance and productivity across departments
- Analyse accounting and financial data to inform business decisions
- Research and identify growth opportunities in the real estate sector
- Generate reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders
- Develop policies and communicate business goals clearly to staff
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Membership of a recognised professional body
- Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification relevant working experience
Core Competencies Required
- Minimum of a 1st Degree in building technology or related field (MBA or professional qualification in marketing is an added advantage)
- 7 years of relevant work experience in the building and construction industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position
- Experience working with reputable multinational or local construction and real estate companies
- Strong project management and development skills
- Ability to influence and negotiate for contracts
- Capability to market the company's social housing products effectively
- Analytical, focused, and hardworking mindset with strong discipline
- Comprehensive knowledge of different business functions
- Work experience in a housing institution (advantageous)
