Position Overview

GIDEC Endoscopy Centre is seeking a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) to support the delivery of pharmacy services. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist to dispense medicines and coordinate day-to-day pharmacy activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing medicines from clinically approved prescriptions in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Support the delivery of pharmacy services through effective coordination of daily activities
• Provide medicines and advice to patients under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist or Medical Practitioner
• Maintain security of all pharmaceutical products in accordance with standard operating procedures

Required Qualifications

• MCA Certification from a recognized institution
• Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a related position

• Ability to read and carry out instructions accurately
• Attention to detail
• Manual dexterity
• Computer literacy
