Assist with the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards to minimise risk associated with crime and enhance the safety of staff and customers
Monitor and ensure efficient functioning of electronic security installations, including access control systems, alarm systems, fire suppression systems, and CCTV systems
Carry out risk assessments by identifying, evaluating, and reporting security risks to the Security Coordinator
Support implementation and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and compliance with relevant legislation
Make recommendations to the Security Coordinator on security policy revision
Assist with management of all security personnel on the bank's premises
Develop and implement security training and awareness programmes
Track and monitor movement in and out of the bank's premises
Investigate security incidents and make recommendations to the Security Coordinator
Assist with deployment of adequate private security guards and armed police escorts for specie movement and guard duties
Implement health and safety measures at the workplace
Establish and maintain professional relationships with law enforcement agencies, the intelligence community, and peer banks
Coordinate fire prevention and control activities, including auditing of fire systems and instituting remedial measures

Minimum first degree in a security-related field
At least 5 years of post-qualification work experience in a bank or corporate institution
