Duties & Responsibilities Financial Record ManagementMaintain accurate accounting records for the company and projectsPost journal entries and reconcile accountsPrepare trial balances and ledgersEnsure all financial transactions comply with accounting standardsProject Accounting & Cost ControlTrack project costs vs budgetRecord material, labor, subcontractor, and overhead costsPrepare cost reports for each projectHighlight variances and cost overruns to management Accounts Payable & ReceivableReview supplier invoices and process paymentsMonitor client receivables and follow up on collectionsReconcile accounts with suppliers and clientsEnsure timely payments and collectionsPayroll & Staff ExpensesPrepare payroll for project staff and office employeeCalculate allowances, overtime, and deductionsEnsure proper approval before disbursementMaintain payroll recordsFinancial ReportingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsProvide reports on project profitability, cash flow, and cost analysisAssist management in decision-making with financial dataPrepare internal management reportsCompliance & AuditEnsure compliance with tax laws (VAT, withholding tax, payroll taxes)Prepare and submit tax returns and reports to authoritiesSupport internal and external auditsMaintain proper documentation for all financial transactions Budgeting & Forecasting SupportAssist in preparing project and company budgetsMonitor budget utilization and forecast cash requirementsSuggest cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements Supervisory Role (if applicable) Supervise junior accountants or accounting assistantsReview their work and ensure accuracyProvide guidance on accounting procedures
