Key Role & Responsibilities Supplier Management:Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and vendors.Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers.Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth procurement processes.Purchasing and Procurement:Managing the purchase of raw materials, products, or services needed by the organization.Reviewing purchase requisitions and ensuring accurate and timely orders.Conducting market research to find competitive prices and quality options.Inventory Management:Monitoring inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or overstock situations.Developing strategies to optimize inventory management and procurement timing.Cost Control:Identifying cost-saving opportunities and suggesting strategies to reduce procurement expenses.Ensuring that procurement is conducted within the allocated budget.Compliance and Reporting:Ensuring that all purchases comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.Preparing regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and budget adherence.Order Management:Processing orders and managing logistics to ensure timely delivery.Coordinating with other departments (such as finance and production) to ensure that orders are met without delays.Problem Resolution:Addressing any procurement-related issues, such as delivery delays or defective products.Implementing corrective actions and maintaining contingencyplans for potential risks.Perform other job-related duties as required by the company
