Programme Insights Lead

About the Opportunity

This is a new and key role within Plan International Ethiopia (PIE). The successful candidate will lead the collection, analysis, and processing of data and information from PIE, Plan International more broadly, and external sources. This work is vital to developing an evidence base for our operations in both the development and humanitarian spheres.

The role will enable PIE to influence donors and stakeholders while driving organizational development at both programme and strategic levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Run an efficient department and manage operations across the Programme and Portfolio department
• Influence programme managers and other functions within PIE to undertake their data collection and usage responsibilities
• Ensure data is disseminated in formats that can be effectively used across the organization
• Facilitate organizational learning by ensuring lessons are captured and used to develop approaches and practices
• Oversee safeguarding and gender equality and inclusion (GEI) compliance within the team and department

Safeguarding and Gender Equality & Inclusion

• Understand and implement responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International's Code of Conduct (CoC)
• Report and manage concerns in accordance with appropriate procedures
• Ensure all team members under supervision are properly inducted on and understand their role in upholding Plan International's safeguarding and GEI policies
• Embed Plan International's global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion in day-to-day work
• Ensure Plan Ethiopia contributes to Plan International's global efforts on safeguarding and GEI, including relevant reporting and data submission
