## Title: Procurement & Logistics Manager

Job Purpose

The Procurement & Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the company's procurement and logistics activities from the head office. The role ensures cost-effective purchasing, effective supplier management, and timely transportation and delivery of goods and services to support company operations and project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Management

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures in line with company objectives
  • Manage sourcing and purchasing of goods, equipment, materials, and services required by the company and project sites
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best value in terms of cost, quality, and delivery
  • Review and approve purchase requests and purchase orders in accordance with company approval procedures
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure reliable supply and service quality

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Identify and prequalify suppliers and maintain an updated vendor database
  • Participate in supplier negotiations, contract preparation, and service agreements
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations

Logistics Coordination

  • Oversee logistics arrangements for transportation and delivery of purchased goods to company locations and project sites
  • Coordinate with logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and transport companies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Resolve logistics and delivery issues in coordination with suppliers and internal departments

Policy, Compliance & Cost Control

  • Ensure procurement and logistics activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
  • Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for procurement savings and efficiency improvements
  • Ensure transparency, accountability, and proper documentation in procurement processes
