The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in logistics, customs procedures, documentation, supplier coordination, and operational risk management, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective trade operations., Tasks and responsibilities include: Position: LOGISTICS MANAGER  Reports To; GENERAL MANAGEREmployment Type: FULL TIMESalary: ATTRACTIVE Number of Required Persons: 1 (One)Application Deadline: February 23, 2026 (early application is highly encouraged)Duty Station: Around Rwanda Embassy, Bole Area, Addis Ababa KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlan, coordinate, and oversee all import and export operations to ensure timely and compliant shipment of goods.Manage end-to-end trade processes including shipping, customs clearance, documentation, warehousing, and delivery.Ensure full compliance with local and international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities.Review and approve import/export documentation (invoices, packing lists, BL, certificates, permits, etc.).Monitor shipment status, resolve delays, and proactively manage operational risks.Optimize operational costs, improve efficiency, and recommend process improvements.Prepare operational reports, shipment tracking updates, and performance summaries for management.Supervise and mentor junior operations and logistics staff.Work closely with finance, sales, and procurement teams to ensure smooth cross-functional operations.Handle operational issues, claims, and disputes related to shipments or service providers.
