Finance Officer

Position SummaryThe Finance Officer will be responsible for day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the local entity in Ethiopia. This role focuses on bookkeeping, tax compliance, bank payments, and routine financial reporting, while working closely with Head Office Finance to ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate and complete accounting records in accordance with company policies and local regulationsHandle daily bookkeeping, including vouchers preparation, ledger posting, and account reconciliationsPrepare and submit local tax filings, including VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and other statutory taxesProcess bank payments and manage relationships with local banksSupport monthly and annual closing activities under the guidance of Head Office FinanceMaintain proper documentation for financial transactions, contracts, and paymentsAssist in audits and provide required financial information to auditors and tax authoritiesEnsure compliance with Ethiopia Revenue and Customs Authority (ERCA) requirementsPrepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports.Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or Head Office
