Based in our South Ethiopia Regional State office, this full-time position is ideal for a dedicated and skilled mid-level professional with 3-5 years of experience.

Key Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering
• Solid understanding of basic PLC principles
• Knowledge of electrical engineering for wood manufacturing machinery
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct circuit analysis to ensure the efficiency and safety of electrical systems
• Design and implement electrical systems and components for manufacturing processes
• Understand and implement basic PLC principles in electrical systems
• Perform electric welding tasks as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime
• Develop and maintain electrical documentation, including schematics and reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with manufacturing equipment
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical installations
• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations
• Assist in the training of junior engineers and technicians on electrical practices
• Manage projects related to electrical upgrades and installations
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in electrical engineering
• Work overtime as required to meet project deadlines
