Role Summary
The Business Manager for Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) will define, generate, develop, evaluate, analyze, and maintain ITO business operations in support of achieving organizational business requirements. This role involves creating leads, researching market opportunities, analyzing pricing and policy considerations, and identifying client specifications to address outsourcing requirements. The Manager will select strategic partners whose cooperation adds value to the organization, guide management and teams toward competitive advantages in outsourcing, and design production or service solutions in cooperation with external suppliers and outsourcing partners.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and generate new business leads from various international sources
- Research and analyze local and international client requirements to drive sales of outsourcing products and services
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on emerging IT outsourcing trends to maintain competitive positioning
- Actively participate in and support new product development programs, ensuring solutions are cost-effective and quality-conscious
RFP & Contract Management
- Lead and manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including vendor evaluation and selection
- Negotiate contract terms, scopes of work, pricing, payment schedules, and change orders
- Develop and maintain critical outsourcing documentation, including SOPs, RFP templates, CDAs, and Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- Ensure all agreements are commercially advantageous to the company while minimizing risk through collaboration with Legal and Finance teams
Financial Oversight & Profitability
- Perform high-level cost-benefit analyses and profitability assessments before project engagement
- Develop accurate cost estimates for various scenarios and forecast/maintain full project budgets
- Manage financial expectations between organizations, including establishing costs, invoicing, and payment schedules
