About the Position

Menschen fuer Menschen Foundation is seeking a Senior Auto Mechanic for the Boreda Integrated Rural Development Project in Addis-Abeba, Ethiopia.

Employment Terms

• Yearly renewable contract
• Salary: Negotiable

Main Responsibilities

• Test, diagnose, disassemble, and replace defective mechanical parts for gasoil and diesel-powered vehicles and generators
• Overhaul and repair engines, gearboxes, differentials, and manual and automatic transmissions for various project vehicles
• Repair and overhaul electrical components
• Perform welding and cutting of metal parts
• Order defective vehicle parts for maintenance purposes

Required Qualifications

• Good command of spoken and written English
