Senior Accountant

About the Position

Heal Africa Health City S.C. is recruiting a Senior Accountant to oversee the organization's financial operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy of financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. The position requires a highly trustworthy, loyal, and ethical professional who can safeguard organizational resources and maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports
• Supervise daily accounting activities, including accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax regulations, and internal controls
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor budgets and expenditures and provide variance analysis
• Coordinate external audits and respond to audit findings
• Support financial planning and decision-making processes
• Maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate loyalty to the organization
• Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff
