Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic and expanding team at Yasbin Trading PLC in Addis Ababa. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting strategic financial planning.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare, post, and review daily journal entries and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
• Support budget preparation and variance analysis, highlighting operational inefficiencies
• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
• Manage and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting
