## Title: Retail & Distribution Manager

Job Purpose
To take full ownership of the Retail and Distribution division's performance, driving significant sales growth while strategically reducing dependency on single route-to-market channels. This role is responsible for developing market intelligence, optimizing distribution channels, ensuring operational discipline, and building a high-performing team to dominate target market segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic market surveys to monitor competitor pricing, new product launches, and shifting demand patterns in the construction chemical sector
- Monitor retail and distribution team performance, creating follow-up formats to track project leads from initial contact to final sale
- Oversee customer receivables, propose agent credit limits based on monthly turnover, and ensure strict adherence to credit policies
- Continuously evaluate sales performance against targets, identifying root causes of variances and implementing corrective actions
- Establish clear KPIs for the team, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide structured training to address skill gaps
- Design and lead product promotional campaigns in coordination with company shops and the agent network to drive brand awareness
- Collaborate with marketing to improve retail branding and set up professional mock-up rooms demonstrating product quality
- Manage development and distribution of brochures, samples, and branded gear to support sales efforts
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls
- Monitor stock levels in shops and agent warehouses to ensure high product availability and seamless distribution
- Act as the final point of accountability for resolving customer complaints, ensuring issues are recorded and prevented from recurring
