About the Project

Future4Binti (F4B) is a regional initiative funded by the Government of the Netherlands and led by Amref Health Africa in partnership with Plan International and local civil society organizations. The program focuses on eliminating harmful practices such as FGM/C and child, early, and forced marriage (CEFM/U), while advancing gender equality and inclusion.

alignAfrica is implementing the project in Dubti, Asayita, and Afambo woredas of Afar Region.

Position Details

• Position Title: Project Finance Officer – Future4Binti (F4B) Project

• Duty Station: Semera, Afar Region (with occasional travel to Dubti, Asayita, and Afambo woredas)
• Reports to: Project Coordinator / Finance Manager
• Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite
• Contract Duration: One year with possible extension

Purpose of the Role

The Project Finance Officer is responsible for the financial management, compliance, and reporting of the F4B project. The role ensures effective budget utilization, accurate financial reporting, and adherence to donor and organizational financial policies and procedures.
